Who we are

Tundra Transport Rentals LLC, a vehicle rental company in Barrow, Alaska. Questions about this policy, or any request about your own information, go to support@tundra-rentals.com.

What we collect

To process a rental we collect your name, contact details, driver's license and insurance documents, e-signature, and payment information (handled by our payment processor, Stripe — we never store full card numbers).

How we use it

Solely to fulfill your booking: verifying eligibility, processing payment and deposits, preparing the rental agreement, and contacting you about your reservation.

Document retention

License and insurance scans are stored privately with restricted access and are automatically deleted approximately 90 days after a rental is completed.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing purposes or for their own use of any kind. To operate the booking we use a small number of service providers — for payment, for email, for text-message delivery, and for hosting. Each acts only on our instructions, as a processor on our behalf, receives only what that one function requires, and is not permitted to use your information for any purpose of its own. We disclose information otherwise only where the law requires it of us.

Text messages

We never send text messages to customers. Our text messaging goes only to the company's own owner-members, on their own mobile numbers, to alert them to activity in the business. There is no customer sign-up, and a phone number you give us to coordinate a vehicle pickup is never enrolled — our alerting system checks every message against a fixed list of the owners' numbers before it sends, so it cannot be.

Mobile numbers, text-message opt-in data, and consent records are never shared with third parties or associates for any purpose. They are never sold, rented, traded, or used for marketing, and they are never transferred to affiliates or other entities. This applies without exception, including to the owner-members' own numbers and their recorded consent. Cookies and analytics

We measure how this site is used so we can tell which pages and which search or AI services actually bring people here. Three tools do this: Google Analytics 4, which sets its own cookies in your browser, and Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which are cookieless and set none. Google Analytics runs with advertising features switched off — we do not collect an advertising identifier, we do not build advertising audiences, and we do not use any of it for advertising personalisation.

The booking flow also sets a small number of cookies of our own that are strictly necessary for it to work — holding your vehicle while you complete a reservation, and keeping an owner signed in to the admin. Those are not analytics and cannot be turned off without breaking the booking.

Analytics data is never combined with messaging consent records. Browsing measurement and the owner-members' alert numbers are kept entirely separate systems, and no analytics tool has access to the second. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings, or send a Do Not Track signal, and the site will work normally.

Your rights

Contact us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, subject to records we must retain for legal and accounting purposes.
