Each vehicle page states its own daily rate and its own refundable deposit, because the deposit differs by vehicle. The rate you are shown is the rate you are charged: it is computed from the vehicle record on our side, never from anything the browser sends. The deposit is authorized on your card in person at pickup and released when the vehicle comes back undamaged — it is not taken when you book.

How booking a vehicle works

Availability on each vehicle page is live, and choosing dates holds that vehicle for 30 minutes while you finish — so two people cannot book the same vehicle for the same days. You upload a driver's license and proof of insurance, sign the rental agreement electronically, and pay the rental by card. Confirmation is immediate and arrives by email as well.

There is no rental counter and no airport desk in Utqiagvik. Collection is at an agreed point in town, arranged with you once the booking is confirmed, which is also why a vehicle can be collected at any hour rather than only during office hours.
