2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon available to rent in Utqiagvik (Barrow), Alaska

2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

Trail-rated 4×4 with locking differentials and aggressive tires — built for tundra gravel, snow, and ice roads. The go-anywhere choice for getting around Utqiagvik and the North Slope. Utqiagvik's roads are gravel rather than pavement and carry snow and ice for much of the year, which is the surface this vehicle was designed for: ground clearance, four-wheel drive and tires that bite on a loose or frozen road. It seats five, and it is the vehicle to take if your work puts you anywhere the plowed road stops.

Renting the 2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon

What it costs

The 2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon rents for $180.00 per day in Utqiagvik (Barrow), Alaska. A three day rental is $540.00 and a week is $1,260.00, before tax. The full total is shown before payment. A refundable deposit of $250.00 is authorized separately on your card at pickup and is not charged when you book.

What you need

A valid driver's license and proof of insurance, both uploaded during booking, and a credit card for the rental and the deposit. Drivers must be at least 25, and only drivers listed on the rental contract may drive. The full requirements are in the rental terms, which you accept when you book.

How collection works

Booking is completed online and confirmed immediately by email. The vehicle is collected in person in Utqiagvik by appointment, which is arranged after the booking is confirmed. We serve Utqiagvik (Barrow) and the surrounding North Slope, and most customers are residents, contractors on rotation, or government and agency personnel traveling for work.

Mileage, fuel and where you can drive

Unlimited mileage. No per-mile charge applies. No geographic limit within Alaska road access from Utqiagvik. Full to full — the vehicle leaves with a full tank and must be returned full. The roads in and around Utqiagvik are gravel rather than pavement and carry snow and ice for much of the year, so the vehicle comes to you prepared for that surface and is expected back in the same condition, allowing for ordinary road dirt.

Changes and cancellation

Contact us as early as you can and we will confirm in writing what refund applies to your reservation before anything is charged or refunded. Dates can be changed subject to availability. Email support@tundra-rentals.com to adjust or cancel a confirmed booking.

Before you book

If this is your first rental here, two pages are worth reading first: driving in Utqiagvik covers the roads, the light and the seasons, and renting a car in Barrow covers how renting works in a town with no road in. Other vehicles in the fleet are on the vehicles page.
